Aberration-Free Metal Mirrors

Description

Used in broadband visible and IR applications, Off-Axis Parabolic First Surface Metal Mirrors are interferomically tested and features a surface roughness down to 50Å RMS.

Off-Axis Parabolic mirrors (OAPs) have no spherical aberration and are free of chromatic aberration over a broadband range because they are not wavelength dependent.

Off-Axis Parabolic First Surface Metal Mirrors feature a solid metal design and use no adhesives for excellent thermal conductivity. OAPs have a focal point which is not in line with the optical axis, allowing users to incorporate various components into the system and optimize workspace. This unrestricted access to the focal point permits users to design compact systems with smaller footprints. Standard Off-Axis Parabolic First Surface Metal Mirrors are available with a reflected focal length range from 12.7mm (0.5") to 516mm (20.3").
