APD 4-Way High Voltage connector
Description
The APD 4-Way High Voltage Connector is a 500V DC, 20A, 4-way circular device that features three-point bayonet coupling. The connector is resistant to engine, transmission and brake fluids, making it ideal for use in a variety of automotive environments.
The 4-way plastic circular connector was designed with the same dimensions and layout as ITT’s standard APD connectors, allowing customers to use standard APD connector accessories, thus reducing inventory requirements. The APD 4-way contacts are recessed as a safety feature so they cannot be touched directly, while the bayonet mating combines robustness and high vibration resistance with the ability to withstand moisture ingress (up to IP69). The APD 4-way connectors meet all DIN 72585 specifications. Customers can also specify a color to best suit their specific application.
