Midland, November 10, 2005 – Educational, health care and laboratory casework manufacturer, Case Systems, Inc., and industrial grade ergonomic workstation and furniture manufacturer, BOSTONtec, Inc., have selected Richard W. Vander Weele as their new President & Chief Operating Officer.

Rick is a very talented individual with a history of accomplishments and success. He has managed and led several successful companies and has served in positions of President and General Manager, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and as Principal and Owner serving as a Consultant to a variety of manufacturing businesses.

Rick is a graduate of Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan and has deep roots in Michigan and our local community.

Rick will be focusing his efforts on long-term profitable growth, penetrating new vertical markets, developing new product offerings, continued implementation of Lean manufacturing principles to improve our competitive position, and offer our customers an enhanced value proposition.

high-quality ergonomic steel workstations as a result of an investment in cutting-edge metal fabrication and design, including computer-controlled laser cutting, robotic welding, and environmentally safe powder-coated finishing. Case and BOSTONtec employ approximately 170 workers.
