The new Chemineer^® Clean Sweep mixer recently launched by Chemineer, Inc., a unit of Robbins & Myers, features a proprietary, effective, long-lasting elastomer backed Teflon^® seal. The Clean Sweep – a non-rotating, sanitary mixer – has a Teflon diaphragm that provides secure sealing for almost any process. The material of construction meets the FDA/USP Class VI requirements found in many specifications. This proven technology provides a hermetically sealed environment ensuring peace of mind during production by eliminating the rotating shaft seal. No maintenance is required and the seal is easy to replace, saving time and reducing expense.
