Compressed Air Flow Control

Description

Electronic flow control minimizes compressed air use on blowoff, drying, cooling, conveying, and static elimination operations to save energy. The EFC combines a photoelectric sensor with a timing control that limits compressed air use by turning it off when no part is present. The timing control permits easy tuning of the application requirements with numerous valve operating modes and timing delays. The compact sensor includes a sensitivity adjustment and detects objects up to 3 ft. Sensor installs in tight spaces and is immune to noise and inductive loads. NEMA 4 polycarbonate enclosure is suited for a wide range of applications, including those in wet locations. Choice of 40, 100, or 200 scfm solenoid valve is available. EXAIR Corp., Cincinnati, OH
