Corrosion-Resistant Epoxy Resin Coating

Description

Extremely Corrosion Resistant Composition for Linings and Coatings

Master Bond has developed a new two component adhesive system called EP41-lND. The epoxy resin system is a solvent free composition which cures readily at ambient temperatures to produce durable, hard, tough and extremely corrosion resistant linings and coatings. The mixed composition can be applied in films ranging from less than 5 mils to more than 150 mils in thickness.

EP41-IND cures completely even at low temperatures and in high humidity conditions and can be applied even on vertical surfaces without dripping. The cured material exhibits excellent chemical resistance to: water, organic and inorganic acids; bases, such as sodium hydroxide and ammonium hydroxide; petroleum hydrocarbons, including fuels and hydraulic fluids; ethylene glycol; ethanol; butanol; and many other chemicals. Successful applications include: linings and coatings for concrete, metal and various cement tanks and piping installations; various marine coatings; tank coatings of ships for crude oil and ballast sea water; coatings for pulp tanks in paper mills; coatings for effluent treatment; condensers, oil coolers, piers, bulkheads, offshore drilling towers and also chemically resistant flooring.

This formulation is available in 1/2 pints, pints, quarts, gallons, and 5 gallons pail kits in clear and in a variety of colors.
