LOUIS, June 15, 2006 – The new Cooper Bussmann drive fuse is designed specifically for the protection of power electronic controllers such as Drives and Temperature control equipment and devices such as SCRs, Diodes and Solid State Relays. It’s a high-speed fuse and a UL Class J fuse in one package, and so meets NEC® branch circuit requirements with the response of a high-speed fuse, critical for protecting power electronics equipment.

The new Cooper Bussmann drive fuse provides superior overcurrent protection to Power Electronics equipment and devices where traditional branch circuit protection devices fall short. It utilizes the standardized dimension of a Class J fuse to be used in readily available clips, holders and switches.
