Eraser's Model K8A Makes Stripping Fast and Effective

Eraser's Model K8A is a precision rotary wire stripper perfect for processing material such as round extruded, built-up (solid and stranded), magnet, enamel and film insulated wires and coaxial cables. It can also process tough insulations such as Kapton, silicon rubber and armored polythermaleze. There are two varieties available, in clockwise and counter clockwise rotation, so the head can be matched to the lay of the wire being stripped. Diamond tipped blades designed for very long life are available by special order.

Blade depth, blade pressure, and strip lengths are adjustable and ensure consistent strips. When stripping stranded or extruded insulated wires, stripping is fast and effective with little risk of damage to the wire conductor. A reversible motor permits changing the direction of twist.The K8A may be used to three-stage strip coaxial cables. Close-up stripping to work pieces, coil bodies and bobbins is possible as the blade tips are located directly behind the see through guard. Window stripping on magnet wire is also possible by removing the strip length stop.
