Five Color Explosion Proof Stack Light with Horns

The EPL-TL-5X10W-C-2XPA Class 1 Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 LED stack light from Larson Electronics is approved for use in hazardous environments where explosive and flammable gases, vapors, and dusts exist, as well as wet locations and marine environments. This LED stack light with double audible horns offers 50 watts of light in red, yellow, blue, amber, and green. The five indicator lights on this unit have a 50,000 hour operational life and are protected by durable Pyrex globes and cast aluminum globe guards for added durability. Attached to the far ends of the fixture, these NEMA 4X rated audible horns provide operators with five different tones that can reach a peak output of 110dBA and each lamp is configured to sound a different tone when illuminated. The explosion proof audible alarm setup sounds a unique tone per lamp color, providing operators in hazardous locations with an effective and powerful alert system that can withstand demanding conditions and be heard over the operation of industrial machinery.

This stack light carries a T3 temperature rating as well as a NEMA 4X rating for use in marine and wet environments. The light housing is constructed of a polyester powder coated; copper free aluminum casting that can withstand 1,490 pounds PSI hydrostatic pressure. The housing on this explosion and water proof stack light is constructed of heavy duty aluminum while the horn is made of fiberglass. The entire unit is finished in a durable gray powder coat for resistance to corrosion. Wiring is made through a ½” conduit access hub. The unit can be ordered in 120V or 240V AC configurations for use with standard line voltages or 24V DC for low voltage use. Power is provided by individual conductors to allow independent operation of each lamp and tone combination. An explosion proof junction box protects the internal wiring and can be tapped in order to connect this stack light to power sources.  Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum base with predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment.
