An image transfer system that is an effective alternative for marking all types of equipment, systems and instruments produced in small runs has been introduced by Nameplates for Industry, Inc. of New Bedford, Massachusetts. NFi’s Apply-A-Print™ Marking System consists of a 0.002” thin conformable pressure sensitive decal featuring a full-color image on a removable carrier; with alignment guides for easy transfer application by unskilled personnel.  Matte, glossy, or textured surface coatings are offered to make the image appear to have been professionally imprinted directly onto the product.

Developed for small quantity applications where silk screening, hot stamping or pad printing are impractical, NFi’s Apply-A-Print™ Marking System has been engineered for enhanced durability, claims the firm.  Other advantages of this marking system include reduced product handling, the ease of making graphic changes, and the ability to modify preexisting images or text.
