Hazardous Location LED Light with XLT Now Available in Clear Lens Option
Description
Federal Signal’s Model 191XL Hazardous Location Flashing LED Warning Light is now available with a Clear Lens option, increasing a customer’s choice to Five LED/Lens colors (amber, blue, clear, green and red). This popular model is known for its advanced technology to produce light output equal to or greater than a 100-watt incandescent lamp along with the superior reliability and durability of an LED lamp rated for 60,000 hours.
Delivering maximum light output and superior lens fill, eXtreme Light Technology (XLT™) stands out as a significant breakthrough in high-intensity LED arrays exclusively designed to meet the rugged demands of industrial customers. The Class I Division 2, Class II Division 1 and Class III signal, which is configurable for steady burning or flashing mode, provides improved performance and versatility over standard LEDs, while maintaining the low-power consumption and shock/vibration resistance that have always been a key advantage of LED signals.
Also standard on the 191XL is a standard low in-rush circuitry design that assures compatibility with factory automation systems, and reduces electrical interference with in-rush sensitive devices. Die cast aluminum alloy housing, featuring a single ¾” 14 NPT pipe mounting, is finished with black epoxy powder-coat paint for superior corrosion resistance. A standard die cast dome guard offers increased protection for the glass dome.
To provide optimum application flexibility, the Type 4X, Marine rated 191XL operates on 24VAC/DC, 120VAC and 240VAC. Factory set to flashing mode, a jumper on the PC board assembly enables the 191XL to be readily switched in the field between flashing and steady burn.
