High-Isolation DC/DC Converters
Description
Available now from MicroPower Direct, the D200EI series is a family of miniature 2W, UL approved DC/DC converters. These converters are specifically designed for board level power applications that require small size, robust operation, high input/output isolation levels and low cost.
Twenty four standard models operate from inputs of 5 VDC, 12 VDC or 24 VDC, providing single and dual outputs of 5, 9, 12, 15, ±5, ±9, ±12, or ±15 VDC. Standard features include an input/output isolation of 3,000 VDC, efficiency as high as 87%, and low noise operation. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the D200EI series is greater than 3.5 Mhours. All models are approved to UL 1950, EN60950 (File No. E245422). All models are RoHS compliant.
The D200EI family is packaged in a miniature, Single-Inline-Package (SIP) case that is only 0.77 x 0.28 x 0.4 inches. The pin-out is industry standard and all case materials meet UL94-VO. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C with no derating or heat sinking required. Cooling is by free-air convection.
