Chemline announces the availability TILE-X 2000, an interior acrylic modified epoxy coating for high-gloss retention, chemical and stain resistance and washability in commercial and industrial manufacturing facilities. This information is according to John Henningsen, spokesperson for the company. TILE-X 2000 is a superior coating that produces the look, feel and durability of a baked-on enamel finish. Once cured, it forms a brilliant, high gloss finish that will withstand many years of hard wear without yellowing or chalking. “For stain resistance, even with exposure to high concentrations of chemicals, Tile-X 2000 is an excellent choice for facility maintenance managers”, commented Henningsen. The protective finish of TILE-X 2000 will withstand daily washing with steam, water and the strong detergents commonly used in food packaging, breweries, plating facilities. TILE-X 2000 offers a very low VOC rating (volatile organic content) and it complies with FDA (Food and Drug Association) Title 21, Section 175.300 for use in food processing and packaging facilities, as well as USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) authorized for incidental food contact.
