Highly Popular ANSI Class 2 Rated Safety Vests under its RadwearÔ Brand

Description

Construction, Safety Gear and Job Site Supply Distributors will welcome the recent launch of a new line of ANSI Class 2 rated safety vests by Radians under its Radwear™ apparel brand name.

“ANSI Class 2 rated vests are the most popular class of rated vests on the market,” said Radians Vice President, Bill England. “These are safety vests designed for people working in traffic of 25 to 55 miles per hour.”

Perfect for highway and roadway construction zones, airports, emergency response, law enforcement, utility workers, survey crews, railroad workers and directing traffic, the RadwearÔ vest line is expected be a high sales volume product line for distributors.

“We’ve all heard horror stories about on-the-job accidents that occur as a result of someone simply not being seen,” said England. “Our RadwearÔ vest line features critically important high visibility colors for occupations that involve night work and the need for reflectivity.”

These vests are specifically designed to increase worker visibility in high-risk environments where being easily seen can mean the difference between life and death.

The Class 2 ANSI rated RadwearÔ vest line is available in polyester mesh or close-weaved knit in Hi-Viz orange or green. Two-inch reflective stripes on the front and back of the RadwearÔ vests are standard for the ANSI rated models and provide increased visibility for day and night work.

Radians is also launching a line of non-rated vests that are made of lightweight, highly visible polyester mesh and are available in orange or green. The non-rated vest line features a front closure with hook and loop fastening material and durable elastic side straps. Some models include one or two-inch reflective stripes on the front and back for even more visibility, especially during night work.

Both the non-rated and Class 2 ANSI rated vests are constructed out of comfortable, breathable material and both feature an adjustable front closure with hook and loop material which meets all the requirements of the ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 standard. As well, all RadwearÔ vests are durable and maintain their bright color after 25 washings.

“We are committed to maintaining Radians’ leadership role in workplace safety,” said England. “’Radically Visible’ is more than just a catchy tagline we use when describing the new RadwearÔ line of products.”

Radians applies this concept to all its safety products because this is the company standard, according to England.

“We are committed to being a leader in providing quality protective gear to the work and sport performance market,” England added.
