Description
Retsch’s Ultra Centrifugal Mill ZM 200 with its robust high torque motor and cassette principle, can handle hundreds of samples per day without cross contamination. The mill is extremely versatile, safe and easy to use and therefore has become a standard to prepare samples as diverse as soy beans, corn, pasta, cereals, tea, coffee, cocoa nibs, sugar, spices, and animal feed pellets. Size reduction in the ZM 200 takes place by impact and shearing effects between the rotor and fixed ring sieve. This 2-step process ensures particularly gentle but fast processing. The final size of the particles is determined by the aperture size of the easily interchangeable ring sieves which are available from 0.08 mm to 10 mm. With its wide range of accessories, including an automatic Vibratory Feeder, collection systems for larger quantities, and a special kit for the processing of very small quantities, the Retsch Ultra Centrifugal Mill is convenient to use and can be adapted to a variety of applications.
