JacketStrip 8310 Jacket Slitting Machine
Description
The JacketStrip 8310 precisely slits the outer jacket of insulated cables. With its unique patented floating blade system, round or out-of-round cables can be processed without damaging the underlying cable layers.
The new Schleuniger JacketStrip 8310 can slit various cable insulation materials such as PVC, PUR, rubber, Teflon®, Tefzel®, Kapton, etc. It can process cables from 0.1 - 1.0” (2.5 - 25 mm) in diameter and stripping lengths up to 20” (500 mm). If the length scale is removed, lengths greater than 20” (500 mm) can be processed.
A patented rotating blade system follows the contour of the cable, ensuring precise radial slitting of the cable jacket. If desired, the cable jacket can also be slit axially (lengthwise) while extracting it from the machine. After the slits have been made, the insulation jacket can be easily removed by hand.
The JacketStrip 8310 is programmed via a color touchscreen. Easy to understand icons, combined with a clear menu structure, ensure a user-friendly machine interface.
