Description
Weber Model 5500LF Liner-Free Label Printer Applicator uses a specially coated dry adhesive label material activated just before the label is applied to the product.
The NuLabel-formulated water-based solution contains no solids and evaporates almost immediately, eliminating the glue build-up that is common with linerless systems today. Using existing tamp-blow application, the label is dispensed, cut to size, and then activated using NuLabel’s proprietary fluid.
Roll changeover is reduced by 50% by using 13.75-in. O.D. rolls of label material, resulting in more production uptime. Without the need of a traditional pressure-sensitive liner, the pre-coated roll can hold twice the amount of labels, resulting in less downtime and a zero waste-to-landfill solution.
