Laser Coder Integrates with Label Applicator for In-Line Date Coding

ID Technology has designed a Wrap Labeling System with an integrated iCON Laser Coder. This system allows a date or lot code to be marked onto a label prior to the label being applied to a product.

The Label Applicator is the Model ST1000, a full featured label applicator with variable speed motor that achieves speeds up to 1,000" of label web per minute. Like other ID Technology engineered equipment, the Model ST1000 has a modular, simple, user friendly design that sets this applicator above the competition. It's ideal for the application of an assortment of sizes and shapes of pressure sensitive labels.

For coding the iCON Laser is mounted in-line with the label applicator. Operation is controlled by an integrated touch screen interface with the option of a remote controller. The iCON laser has been specifically designed for small character coding applications in packaged goods and industrial products where it offers users an affordable laser alternative to inkjet. This laser coder uses proven, high performance optics, powerful hardware and advanced, low overhead software to enable the iCON Laser to meet the speeds of most production lines.
