Miniature PTFE Beading (Rod/Cord)
Description
PTFE (Teflon) beading, also known as miniature cord or rod. We carry diameters ranging from .028 to .150 in. PTFE beading is a good choice for electrical applications as it does not conduct electricity and has a wide service temperature range -300 to 500ºF.
PTFE beading possesses a wide range of performance characteristics, including chemical resistance, very lubricious (lowest coefficient of friction of any polymer), excellent dielectric insulation properties. PTFE beading is chemically inert. This product also meets UL-94 VO for flammability. It can be used indoors or outdoors. PTFE beading is available in small put-ups (10, 50, and 100 ft) or large put-ups to a maximum of 1,000 ft.
