MPA400Mx Series Compact 1U Height, 400W Medical Safety Approved AC/DC Power Supplies
Description
Available immediately from MicroPower Direct, the MPA400Mx series provides 400W of output power in a compact 1U height U-Chassis. These AC/DC switchers have been approved to the stringent requirements of EN60601-1 for use in medical equipment.
Seven standard models operate from a universal input of 90 to 264 VAC, providing tightly regulated single outputs. Outputs are factory set to 3.3, 5, 12, 18, 24, 36, or 48 VDC (all are user adjustable). Standard features include power factor correction to EN61000-3-2 D, FCC class B emissions, input/output isolation of 3,000 VAC, and 20 mS hold-up time. All models are protected for over load, over voltage, over temperature and short circuit faults. Interface signals for AC Fail, Power Good and Remote On/Off are provided, as well as a driver output for an external fan. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MPA400Mx series is greater than 100 khours. All models are fully approved to UL, cUL, and TUV, including EN60601-1 for medical equipment. The series is certified to CE and is RoHS compliant. Current sharing capability is available as an option.

Package options include a cover, or an enclosure with end-mount fan. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C (ambient).
