Multigas Detector Includes a Photoionization Sensor

ALTAIR 5X Multigas Detector simultaneously detects up to six gases and includes a PID (photoionization) sensor option, which uses ultraviolet light to ionizes gas molecules and identifies volatile organic compounds.

The durable detector features an XCell Sensors for toxic, combustible and oxygen detection. The addition of PID capability expands the utility of the ALTAIR 5X Detector for growing applications in which VOC (volatile organic compounds) detection is necessary.
