Erie, PA – May 1, 2006 - Finish Thompson Inc. announces a new line of premium magnetic drive pumps. The DB Series line operates at up to 70% efficiency with broad hydraulic coverage. Impeller diameters are evenly spaced for more precise coverage. DB Series pumps offer higher working pressure capabilities, which allow high specific gravity fluids (1.8+ SG) to be pumped safely. With the introduction of the DB11 and DB15, Finish Thompson now offers the most reliable, high performing mag drive pump on the market backed by an exceptional 5-year warranty.

The product of advanced design software including CFD and Magnetic Flux, the DB Series is precision engineered to sustain a long life cycle in the most aggressive, corrosive environments. It offers premium performance at low cost of operation. High hydraulic efficiency significantly reduces energy consumption. A heavy duty metallic motor adapter maintains a secure connection between pump and motor. Superior run-dry ability maintains pump integrity during system failures, even for hours at a time.

DB Series pumps are molded from durable, corrosion resistant GF Polypropylene or CF PVDF. Multiple motor adapters and drive magnet sets enable mounting to any NEMA or IEC motor. NPT or BSP threaded, flanged or welded union connections provide installation flexibility. All models are CE rated. ATEX certified versions are also available. Versatile DB Series pumps are ideal for many applications including chemical processing, plating, water and wastewater, electronics, pulp and paper, and pharmaceuticals.
