New Model 4010 Bi-Directional RS232/RS485 Interface Converter
Description
Electro Standards Laboratories (ESL), Cranston, RI, has just announced its new Model 4010 bi-directional interface converter that converts RS232 level data signals to valid RS485 levels, and RS485 level data signals to valid RS232 levels. This conversion allows communication between devices having RS232 and RS485 interfaces. All signals of both the RS232 and RS485 interfaces are regenerated to maintain accurate adherence to interface specification.
Two front-panel LEDs display the transmit data signal activity for each channel. A single LED indicates when AC power is being supplied to the Model 4010. The all-aluminum housing is designed to be EMI/RFI (interference) resistant in noisy environments.
