New Open Frame Solenoid Offers Magnetic Latching Capability

Saia-Burgess Inc. introduces the B22-L latching open frame solenoid. They are available at standard with 6, 12 or 24 V DC input voltages, with 10%, 25%, and 50% duty cycles. These open frame solenoids are designed for latching applications such as security systems, office automation and medical devices. They provide a maximum force of 40 oz. and a maximum stroke of 0.35 inches.

The solenoids have an integral return spring and are available in 6-120VDC. These compact solenoids measure 1.2 x 1.6 x 1.5 inches in size.
