Description
The new PC150 solid-state power controllers switch, monitor, report status and provide circuit protection for circuits from 2 to 25 amps within the voltage limits and conditions specified in MIL-STD-1275. These SSPC’s feature current flow status, load voltage status, trip status signals and built-in transient suppression.
The PC150 power controllers meet the requirements of computer-controlled power distribution systems by offering the control options of solid-state technology while retaining protection advantages of traditional circuit breakers. Additional design features include surge-tolerant short-circuit protection and optical isolation.
As electronic replacements for conventional electromechanical circuit breakers, the PC150’s remote features allow the power controllers to replace both circuit breakers and load switching relays.
The PC150 measures 2.74 x 1.34 x .370 inches (69.6 x 1.34 x 9.4 mm), plus an additional 0.24 inches (6.1 mm) for pin depth. It weighs 2.3 ounces (65g).
The PC150 is priced at $500 each in quantities of 500 units. Lead time for delivery is 12 to 14 weeks.
