New Q-300XT Plus stretch wrapping system eliminates double handling of pallets – keeps fork trucks moving

Description

Lantech's new Q-300XT Plus stretch wrapping system ends wasteful double handling of pallet loads common with standard stretch wrapping systems and greatly improves efficiency and ergonomics for fork truck operators.

The Q-300XT Plus allows the fork truck operator to simply drive up, position the pallet on the turntable, start the machine with a lanyard switch, and drive away – without ever getting off the fork truck. The wrapping machine automatically attaches the film for the start of wrapping, and cuts the film at the end, eliminating the need for the fork truck driver to dismount and handle these operations. And, once the load is wrapped, the Q-300XT Plus system uses a unique indexing "arm" to transfer the wrapped load to an exit conveyor section, keeping the wrap zone "open and ready" for the next load. Extra conveyor sections can be added to create an accumulation zone for wrapped loads during peak production.

Simple Automation™ of the Q-300XT Plus provides a variety of advantages, including reduced potential for product damage during handling, reduced fork truck operator exposure to safety hazards when getting on and off the truck, and reduced wear and tear on fork truck equipment. The higher efficiency can free up fork trucks for other uses or possibly eliminate some equipment and the associated operating costs.
The Q-300XT Plus can wrap 25-35 loads per hour, up to 75" (1.9 m) tall and weighing up to 4000 lb (1814 kg). The machine's electronically controlled, variable wrap force and 200% pre-stretch on the film ensure consistent, tight loads with economical use of film, reduced labor and improved ergonomics. Pre-stretch up to 300% is available as an option. The system is easy to operate with a touchscreen control, featuring color-coded operating functions for quick, clear identification. And, the entire system is backed by a full three-year, unlimited cycle, all component warranty.
