New Snake-Arm Shields

Description

Danray Products LLC has just released a line of snake-arm shields that can be used on metalworking and woodworking machinery such as drill presses, milling machines, grinders, and saws to safeguard personnel from point-of-operation hazards as well as protect them from flying chips, sparks, coolant, and other particles. These shields comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.212 and applicable ANSI B11-series safety standards for machine tools.

The shields are made of a polished polycarbonate that is virtually unbreakable with 250 times the impact strength of float glass and 30 times that of acrylic.

The snake arms hold a shield in the position where it is needed. These heavy-duty arms are made of spring steel that is covered with vinyl to protect them from grease, oil, and contaminants that would weaken their holding ability. They offer practically unlimited adjustment possibilities and long-term holding power.

Every snake-arm comes with a direct-mount base at the end of the snake arm. However, an optional C-clamp or magnetic base can be attached to the direct-mount base for additional mounting options. Optional right-angle horizontal and vertical brackets are also available for the direct-mount base to help mount the shield where you need it.

Our snake-arm shields and accessories are proudly made in the United States of America!
