Open Frame AC/DC Power Supplies

TRUMPower launches its TWM65 series of 2" x 3" ultra-compact open frame AC/DC power supplies featuring 65 watts output, 0.2 watt no-load power consumption and medical-ITE dual approvals. The TWM65 series features 90 to 264 volts universal AC input and 0.95 power factor. The power supplies are available with factory preset single outputs from 12.0 to 56.9Vdc in 0.1V increments to meet the customer’s special requirement. A 5V/40W output model is also available in the same compact form factor of 2" x 3" x 1.13". 

The TWM65 power supplies feature 2 MOPP to comply with BF (body floating) requirements. The series can be operating at -20°C to +70°C ambient temperature and is greater than 87% efficient under full load. The MTBF of the series at full load and 25°C ambient temperature is 155,000 hours calculated per MIL-HDBK-217F. The models feature overvoltage, overload, and short-circuit protections. The TWM65 series is suitable for use in a wide variety of medical and ITE applications meeting the latest IEC/EN/UL 60601-1 3rd edition medical standards, including ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1:2005 and CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1:08, and the ITE standards of IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 2nd edition. The units meet EMC requirements for applications requiring EN 60601-1-2, EN 55011/FCC Part 18 Class B, EN 55022/CISPR22/FCC Part 15 Class B and feature approvals from UL, CUS, TUV, CE, FCC, and CB.
