Passive Harmonic Filters extend life of downstream components
Description
ECOsine 60-Hz passive harmonic filters remove harmful harmonics of a pre-determined order to increase the reliability of supplied power, and thus extend the service life of downstream components. FN3418 filters feature plug-and-play convenience and more compact dimensions than comparable products. They are ideal for use with non-linear loads such as motor drives (nominally 5 to 250 hp), equipment with front-end 6-pulse rectifiers, fans, pumps, HVAC equipment, dc fast chargers, and more. Filters are designed to operate at 98% efficiency and are installed at the typical three-phase voltage of 480 v ac at 60 Hz.
