East Providence, RI USA -- The Ultra® 1400 Dispensing System is a cost-effective way to apply uniform amounts of threadlockers and other adhesives in benchtop assembly processes. Its fast, consistent application increases productivity, reduces rework and rejects, and lowers consumption of expensive threadlockers by 50% or more.
The Ultra 1400 System operates on compressed air and electricity, and combines a precision air regulator and digital timer in a compact cabinet. By using timed air pressure instead of operator guesswork to control the amount of threadlocker dispensed, the 1400 System eliminates the waste, mess, and quality problems associated with squeeze bottles and other manual applicators.
Threadlocker is contained in a disposable syringe barrel, which further reduces production costs by allowing fluid to be purchased in economical bulk containers instead of small squeeze bottles. A precision piston wipes the syringe clean as threadlocker is dispensed, eliminating waste. The syringe may either be held like a pen by the operator, or installed on an optional mounting rod that acts as a convenient "third hand" and allows the part to be brought to the dispense tip.
The digital timer permits dispense time to be adjusted in increments as small as 0.001 seconds, for extremely precise control over the amount of threadlocker applied. The operator simply places the dispense tip in position and taps an electric foot pedal to put the same amount of threadlocker on every part. An adjustable vacuum control prevents dripping between shots.
Every 1400 Dispensing System includes a supply of high-quality syringe barrels, barrel pistons and dispense tips matched to the user's specific application.
