Powered Mini-Roller Conveyor
Description
With individually powered rollers on 1.5” centers, conveyed goods as small as 3” are easily conveyed to allow for very low pressure accumulation. The drive system is based on employing plastic spools on a powered mini-lineshaft connected to each roller with round polyurethane belts. The spools transmit sufficient torque to drive the carrying rollers but slip upon overload. The result is low pressure, low noise, and low power consumption. Even small and unstable products can be conveyed at a fraction of the cost of tabletop chain and plastic belt conveyors.
Between frame dimensions can range from 6” to 24” and speeds are easily adjusted from 10 to 80 feet per minute. Power is derived from save, energy efficient 24 VDC motors. The line-shaft is housed completely within the extruded aluminum side frame o there are no exposed moving parts, other than the rollers themselves.
Conroll offers these conveyors completely assembled in pre-wired modules which are 60 inches long. As one DC motor can drive 10 feet of conveyor, 60 inch slave-driven extensions are also available. Carrying rollers are 1.3 inches in diameter and rotate on precision ground ABEC1 ball bearings at both ends assuring quiet and maintenance-free operation.
