Recyclable Containers

BWAY Corporation is designing its products for greater sustainability.  From operations to manufacturing, BWAY is dedicated to reducing waste, minimizing its carbon footprint and conserving energy. BWAY offers more than 270 metal, plastic and hybrid containers.  Each one is recyclable, but the company’s environmental commitment doesn’t stop there.  BWAY’s steel and tinplate containers, which include paint cans, aerosol cans, pour-top cans, F-style containers and open- and tight-head pails, are made with at least 25% recycled content.  Steel containers are 100% recyclable at end of life.  Steel is the most recycled packaging material in the world, and it loses none of its properties no matter how many times it is recycled. BWAY’s plastic packaging solutions score high on environmental sustainability scorecards.  Made with up to 30% post-consumer resin, plastic products include bottles, drums, tight-head containers, hybrid paint cans and open-head pails.  

The award-winning open-head ECO-PAIL™ can contain up to 50% post-consumer resin and requires less energy to produce, reduces carbon emissions and uses fewer components than standard pails.  Its innovative Tri-Seal cover eliminates the need for a gasket, and even its ergonomic handle is made from post-consumer resin, so the entire container can be recycled without the need to separate components.
