Removable Threadlockers Literature
Designed to reduce costs and enhance performance, Loctite threadlockers dramatically increase the reliability of threaded assemblies used in applications ranging from heavy industrial equipment to delicate electronics. When restricted from oxygen, these adhesives solidify in the threads of the fastener, locking the nut and bolt together and protecting against vibrational loosening and thermal expansion. Threadlockers also seal assemblies against corrosion and leakage.
The full-page threadlocker properties chart in the new Loctite literature provides detailed information on products with varying strengths and viscosities including: primerless and oil-tolerant formulas; temperature-resistant grades; low- and medium-strength products that disassemble using hand tools; and high-strength red formulations that can be disassembled with localized heat and hand tools. The chart highlights general use, MIL-Spec, food-grade and health and safety-rated products, and includes information on threadlockers for plastic fasteners.
