Robohand Provides Solution to Demanding Linear Motion Challenges


DE-STA-CO Robohand recently announced the release of its new RZA Table-Top Linear Thruster Slide, a precision slide ideal for high-speed applications requiring precise movement and accuracy. The RZA was designed to offer high performance automation at an extremely competitive price. In designing the new product, DE-STA-CO concentrated on surpassing previous competitor models in regards to durability, accuracy and value. The RZA Table-Top Linear Thruster Slide offers an unparalleled cost to performance ratio due to a variety of features, including a recirculating ball bearing guidance system and longer bearings. Equipped with hardened and machined guide ways, the recirculating ball bearing guidance system offers friction free, silent motion. The unit’s longer bearings enable long strokes, ranging from 10 mm to 150 mm, to maintain load capacity over the full length of the stroke. Additionally, the RZA is available in five different bore sizes with 4 to 8 strokes per bore size. The sizes are based on piston bore and range from 6 mm to 20 mm. Other standard features include shock absorbers, extend/retract stoppers, and through hole mounting. The RZA Table-Top Linear Thruster Slide is capable of mounting and operating in any orientation, and uses two dowel pins and two screws for mounting payload. Additionally, the unit features a one-piece tool plate, which provides increased rigidity with no misalignment.
