RoHS Automotive A9 Series Relay with Standard Automotive Fuse and Improved Switch Capacity at 40A


CIT RELAY & SWITCH announces immediate availability of its upgraded automotive A9 Series relays. With new switching capacity to 40A, these automotive relays offer contact arrangement of SPST N.O. The A9 Series uses standard automotive fuses – nine options from 3A to 40A and accommodates industry standard resettable fuses as well. Coil voltage options are 6VDC, 12VDC and 24VDC. Offering contact resistance of <50 milliohms initially, the maximum switching power is 420 watt with max switching voltage of 75VDC and max switching current of 30A. CIT QS9000 and ISO9002 certified manufacturing insures quality and continuous reliability. Standard, RoHS lead free, environmentally friendly (no cadmium) contacts are AgSnO2.

Tested electrical life of the A9 Series is 100K cycles, 40A@14VDC with mechanical life of 10M cycles. Insulation resistance is 100MW at 500VDC. The dielectric strength of the A9 Series coil to contact is 750Vrms minimum at sea level and contact to contact is 500Vrms. Shock resistance is 100m/s2 for 11 minutes with vibration resistance of 1.27mm double amplitude 10~40Hz. Copper alloy terminal strength is 8N. Operating temperature of -40°C to 85°C and storage temperature of -40°C to 155°C. The A9 Series measures in at 35.5mm x 25.5mm x 21.0mm and weigh 32g.
