Safety Light Curtains
Description
SLC Series are avaialble in two models: SLC Standard, which features an LED display, double-scan technology, automatic start, and selectable transmission channels and range reduction to prevent mutual interference, and the SLC Select, which offers manual start/restart interlock, external device monitoring (EDM), and a seven-segment display to provide clear diagnostic and status messages and ensure shorter downtimes.
Light curtains connect via standard M12 connectors. Configuration is done through wiring, so a connection to a PC or setting of DIP switches is not required. The SLC select features a three-zone alignment indicator that reduces assembly time and simplifies adjustment.
SLC light cable connection can be up to 100m long, permitting use of unshielded cables. This allows for greater operational flexibility and reduces costs even under challenging EMC conditions.
