Series CLS2 Capacitive Level Switch

The Proximity Division of Dwyer Instruments is offering a new and innovative capacitive level switch, the CLS2. State of the art sensing technology in the CLS2, using impulse RF admittance measurement combined with an active guard, provides excellent level measurement and stability while being insensitive to material buildup. This capacitive technology has no moving parts – no jams, no wear, nothing to break, and no maintenance. The CLS2 is designed to auto-calibrate in your application, no need to turn pots, just push the internal calibration button or use the external magnet without even having to open the enclosure. Features of the CLS2 include: universal power supply that works from 12 to 240 VAC/DC without any jumpers or settings; failsafe setting for loss of power; status indication lights of power, sensor, and output; programmable output time delay; and easily removable wiring terminal for wiring of control outside of the enclosure. Price from $290.00 for a weatherproof model the CLS2 is great value. Options include explosion-proof enclosure and food grade wetted materials. The CLS2 is ideal for level indication in silos, receivers, and transporters in pneumatic conveying systems. It is also good for difficult applications – sludge, slurry, liquids with suspended solids, coating products, and to detect liquid interfaces.
