Shade and Contoured-Side Visors

V-Gard Shade Visors for welding, cutting and brazing applications protect against damage from impact and infrared (IR) radiation, and are engineered for heavy-duty use. Available in either Shade 3 or Shade 5, as a visor or nitrometer, these molded visors meet requirements for EN166, ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2010 (for welding), and are certified to CSA Z94.3 (for shade).   

The sides of the new general-purpose V-Gard Visors are contoured towards the face, for a closer fit and improved resistance to impact and splash hazards.
