SMALL FORMAT FORM / FILL / SEAL BLISTER PACKAGING MACHINE

KOCH Packaging Systems LP introduces the KBS-GS small format blister packaging machine. Designed to handle the rapid pace and fast changeover demands for moderate production needs, the KBS-GS is ideal for package development, startup volumes and small batch production facilities. The KBS-GS blister packaging machine supports a maximum forming and sealing format of 250mm wide by 150mm in the index direction and operates at a rate of up to 15 cycles per minute. The smaller format range permits the use of light weight, lower cost, quick-change tooling with a decreased footprint from KOCH’s tried and true big brother packaging system. Tool changes are facilitated by pneumatic clamping systems at the form and seal stations permitting fast, easy changeover procedures. The servo controlled drive system maintains precise control of machine movements and station positioning. IPC machine control system allows process parameters to be set and stored through the touch screen operator interface. Network connection and remote modem diagnostics options are also available.
