Strain Gage Bridge Signal Conditioner - CALEX Mfg. Co.

Description

Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. announces the availability of the Calex Model 437. The Model 437 is a self-contained, DC powered signal conditioner for load cells and transducers utilizing full bridge strain gages. It contains a precision instrumentation amplifier with an isolated, filtered output and a highly regulated, low noise, adjustable output bridge excitation source. What sets the 437 apart is a Bridge Balance pot and high gain capability to accurately condition load cell weighing systems with large tare offsets and small live load signals

The Model 437 provides an isolated 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA output capable of driving a 1000 ohm loop. This model employs a high gain amplifier; which can accept full scale live load signals as low as 5 mV and provide a 16 mA output span. This unit also has a bridge balance with an 80% tare offset capability. The Model 437’s excitation supply is capable of driving four 350 ohm load cells. The unit is completely encapsulated for use in rugged environments. Overall dimensions are 3.25”L x 2.00”W x 2.87” H. Calex offers a mounting kit for use in DIN Rail applications. The 437 is backed by Calex’s five year warranty.
