SurroundScan Protector HD Metal Detector

The SurroundScan Protector HD metal detector is designed to work in difficult applications where downtime is not an option and performance is everything. The metal detector is manufactured with heavy-duty painted steel that works in the toughest environment. The patented digital electronics continually monitors production and compensates for conditions such as conveyor vibrations, product variations, and production equipment movements near the metal detector. These production conditions are automatically compensated by the microprocessor, which in the end greatly enhances the metal detector’s sensitivity to smaller tramp metal contaminates and long-term reliability. 

The Protector HD comes with Acculearn technology which accurately adjusts for product effect, especially highly conductive products. As a result, the metal eliminates the nuisance of false trips associated with metal detectors. Its enhanced sensitivity design is preferred to analog technology and sets the standard for detection in the industry. With the SurroundScan Protector HD unique design, even the most conductive product and adverse environmental conditions are eliminated providing mining, aggregate, cement, recycling, and plastic regrind operations enormous savings versus costly repairs due to less than perfect electronic adjustments and unreliable metal detector performance.

The SurroundScan Protector HD metal detector is constructed of all-welded, heavy-duty metal and is shipped completely assembled and ready for installation. The SurroundScan Protector HD is easy to install, operate and maintain.   Standard features of the SurroundScan Protector HD metal detector include an easy-to-use touchscreen interface with color graphics, continuous product flow analysis, automatic balance control, system-ready and detect lamps, and metal splice detection circuits. Optional upgrades available are a remote display, exterior audio alarm, metal locator disc, and spray marker kits.
