ZWS-BAF 50 & 75 W Power Supplies With 10-Year Life

The 50 W ZWS50BAF and 75 W ZWS75BAF combine high efficiency, even at low load conditions, with a wide operating temperature range, small size, and up to 10-years electrolytic capacitor life. These models accept a wide AC input range of 85 to 264V AC, have a low profile of 1 to 1.3 in. (25 to 33 mm), and have compact footprints of 2 x 5 to 6 in. (51 x 127 to 152 mm) (W x L) for applications in light industrial, factory automation, LED signage, test & measurement, gaming, point-of-sale, and IT equipment.

The open frame supplies feature a universal AC input with PFC, enabling them to be used anywhere in the world. They can operate from a 120 to 370V DC input. The ZWS50-75BAF is designed to withstand 3kV AC, input-to-output. The series is available with an output voltage of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, or 48V DC, all of which have a +/-10% adjustment range for non-standard system requirements.

Small in size and offering an efficiency of up to 88%, which is considered high for a PCB-type power supply, all models in the ZWS50-75BAF series feature an operating temperature range of 14 to 158°F (-10 to 70°C), allowing 100% load operation in a 50°C environment. Standard features include overcurrent and overvoltage protection circuitry.

The ZWS50-75BAF series feature global ITE and general purpose safety agency certifications per UL/CSA/EN60950-1, EN50178 (OV II), are CE Marked, meet the conducted and radiated EMI requirements of EN55011/EN55022-B, VCCI-B and FCC Class B, which is much tougher to meet than Class A.  All units are RoHS compliant.
