The Magnalight MGS37.5/10C/480-120/240V GFI/ SS/GAL Temporary Power Substation converts 480 VAC three phase electrical current to single phase 120V AC and 240V AC. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.
This 3 phase 480V to single phase 120/240 VAC temporary power substation provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable transformer is designed to operate with 480v 3ph which it then steps down to 1ph 120 VAC and 1ph 240 VAC. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 120 VAC available via 8- 20amp, 120v GFI protected 5-20R watertight receptacles and 240 VAC available via 2- 20amp, 250v, 2 pole /3 wire receptacles with watertight covers
