Weighing just 7 oz. (200 g), Extech’s Type K/J Single Input Thermometer is ideal for use by HVAC and maintenance professionals in applications where simple one-hand operation is required. The highly accurate -- ±(0.15% rdg + 1°C) -- TM 100 features a large backlit LCD display for easy viewing. It also offers a wide temperature range with 0.1°/1° resolution, along with readouts in °F, °C, or K (Kelvin). In Type K, the TM 100 reads temperatures, ranging from -328 to 2501°F (-200 to 1372°C), and from 346 to 2012°F (-210 to 1100°C) in Type J. Moreover, the TM 100 provides minimum, maximum and average readings with relative time stamp. It also features a “data-hold” function that enables its users to freeze the reading that is registering on the thermometer’s display screen, securing an accurate recording.
The TM 100 comes with offset key, which is used for zero function to make relative measurements, as well as an auto power off button feature, permitting it to be disabled quickly. It also comes complete with Type K bead wire temperature probe (-22 to 572°F/-30 to 300°C) and 9V battery.
