CC-P-E 15 & 30 W DC-DC Converters With Parallel Function

Description

A high-density, cost-effective, DC-DC converter family, the CC-P-E Series is an ultra-compact, fully isolated converter that features a wide range of DC inputs (24 or 48V nominal) which makes them ideal for telecom, datacom, distributed power, battery operated devices, FPGA, and process control applications. Available with output voltages of 3.3, 5, 12, or 15V DC, with output power ratings of 15 or 30 W, these fully-regulated, high-efficiency (92% typical) converters can be paralleled for higher power applications.

 

The CC-P-E modules are available in through-hole or SMT packages, with or without a shielded metal case, and are suitable for temperature ranges from -40 to 185°F ( -40 to 85°C). DC OK, sequencing (for up to 20 paralleled units), remote on/off, and parallel alarm pins are standard signals and controls. In addition, overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuits are built-in.

 

These converters are available with a nominal 24V DC input that can operate from 18 to 36V DC or a 48V DC input that will operate from 36 to 76V DC.  Ideal for limited-space applications, the 15 W units measure only 1 x 1.5 in. (30 x 38 mm) and are 0.3 in. (7 mm) high. The 30 W converters measure 1 x 1.5 in. (33.5 x 38 mm) and are 0.3 in. (8 mm) high. The designer can simply parallel two or more of these converters for higher power requirements.

 

These DC-DC converters include a 5-year warranty.  ll cased models have an input-to-output, input-case, and output-case isolation of 1,000V DC, are safety-approved to UL/CSA/EN60950-1, and are RoHS compliant.
