1AC-I VoltAlert tester detects voltage, helps ensure safe working conditions


Fluke Corporation has introduced a new VoltAlert™ ac non-contact voltage tester complete with always-on circuitry and new battery check button. The new Fluke 1AC-I  is the latest product in Fluke’s VoltAlert family of ac non-contact voltage testers. Electricians, maintenance, service and safety personnel and do-it-yourselfers can test for energized circuits and defective grounds on the factory floor, in the shop, or at home.  By simply touching the tip of this pocket-size tester to a terminal strip, outlet or power cord and watching for the tip to glow red, users can quickly determine if there is voltage in the line.


The Fluke 1AC-I includes a convenient new always-on feature so it’s ready to use when you need it.  The tester is built with special low power circuitry to sustain battery life.  It also has an innovative ‘Battery Check’ button function to ensure battery and unit are in good condition when using the tester, giving peace of mind any time you are testing.  (Use of the Battery Check function is not intended as a substitute for checking the unit on a known live source before and after use.)  Typical battery life is greater than one year.
