Greenerd's 2,500-Ton Hydraulic Compression Molding Press offers unique hydraulic press application solutions for metal forming and fabricating, among many other industries. The Molding Press for rubber molding features a control system that allows automatic bumping which enables pressure release of the top platen while maintaining continuous contact of the mold. The process may also be done manually at any time.
In addition, the press features a ventilation system that draws all fumes away from the molding area without interfering with the operation or closing off access to the press, a bottom platen shuttle system with 120-in. of travel to fully exit the press for clear overhead access, and an energy-reducing dwell latch. All Greenerd presses are designed and built to ANSI B-11.2 1995 (R-2010) compliance.
