5-Axis Orbital Seal Head

At 200 packages per minute, Texwrap's patented 5-axis servo orbital-motion seal head increases throughput in demanding, highspeed packaging applications. It uses inertia to its advantage and does not come to a complete stop when cycling. This allows it to perform at much higher rates, while also drastically reducing stress/wear on components.

A box motion seal head running at this speed would fail in a very short time due to the repeated high stresses resulting from reciprocating motion. The orbital seal head maintains complete control of film relaxation which is critical for strong seals. Maintaining vertical orientation during the entire seal cycle reduces cutoff lengths and increases film savings.
