6- Position Double Lock Connector

The 6-position power double lock (PDL) connector features a resin material, retainer, and ergonomic design. The connector incorporates a glow wire option, terminal position assurance (TPA), and good handling properties. The PDL panel-mount connector mates with 4 and 2- position plug housings and features an asymmetrical polarized design that prevents mismating. 

The PDL connector complies with UL94 V-0 and IEC 60335-1. TPA retainers help prevent contacts from backing out in applications with random vibration and ensure full contact insertion within the housing. TPA also provides additional retention force for more secure mating and performance. Moreover, the ergonomic design of the connector improves the efficiency of workers on the shop floor. The 6-position PDL connector, based on a 6.6 x 8.5 mm centerline, mounts in a 30.6 x 18.7 mm panel cutout. Crimp contacts are available for 16 to 26 AWG wire sizes. The connector is interchangeable with similar products in the market to facilitate simple retrofitting.
