Matching block and rail provide continuous corrosion protection in environments where cleanliness is a must such as food & beverage, pharmaceutical, semiconductor and medical processing and packaging applications. IDA’s new, proprietary coating provides an excellent alternative to 400 Series stainless steel in wash-down applications at a significant cost savings.
With excellent adhesion and ductility, IDA’s wash-down coating maintains a surface hardness of 78Rc and provides a lower coefficient of friction between mating surfaces than non-coated product. The result is a corrosion and abrasion resistant guide system that lasts an incredibly long time!
